Nina Sharma West is the Director of Individual Partnerships at Millennium Promise. Nina has worked in nonprofit fundraising for the past 9 years. Most recently, she was the Director of Development, Corporate Relations at the Advertising Council – a nonprofit that creates public service advertising campaigns to foster social change. Prior to the Ad Council, Nina held fundraising, event planning, and volunteer management positions at Yale University, Carnegie Hall, and the New York Public Library.

Nina received her MPA from NYU’s Wagner School of Public Service with a specialization in International Development. As part of her graduate thesis, she conducted field work in Uganda for a World Bank-funded project focusing on local government revenue generation and citizen engagement. She received her B.A. in English Literature from Hamilton College, where she currently serves on the Alumni Council.
