Education

Achieving universal primary education and improving the overall quality of education are the main goals of this sector. After completing needs assessments and identifying community priorities in education, the project focuses on improving school facilities, increasing enrollment, and training teachers.

Locally-produced school meal programs are also launched, with farmers contributing a portion of their surplus harvest to the program. The focus expands to connecting school facilities to the electricity grid, introducing computers and Internet connectivity and to improving access to vocational and secondary schools.
